Mrs. Roscoe (Susie Robinson) Shell, 81, of Sullivan died 3:45 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 14, 1978) in her home. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in McMullin Funeral Home, Sullivan, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Qampfield Cemetery, near Sullivan. Mrs. Shell was born in Laurel County, Ky., daughter of Henry and Sally Robinson. She married Roscoe Shell in 1915. He died in 1939. Surviving are sons, Grover of Falls Church, Va.; James and Roy, both of Sullivan; Horace of Caruthersville; Mo.; daughters, Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Sullivan of Forest Grove, Ore.; Mrs. Delmar (Lena) Harpster of Banks, Ore.; Mrs. Robert (Lida) Hess of Sullivan; brother, George Robinson of Sullivan; 19 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. One son preceded her in death.
