PLAN FUNERAL AT FORT MYER FOR LT. MOFFETT
Deceased Name: Lt. John H. Moffett
Washington, D. C., Jan. 8. -- Funeral services for 2d Lt. John H. Moffett, who was killed last week in the collision of two army bombers near Salt Lake City, Utah, will be held at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday at Fort Myer chapel here. Burial will be in Arlington national cemetery.
Lt. Moffett was the son of Mrs. Herbert T. Edwards, the former India Moffet, who was until recently society editor of THE CHICAGO TRIBUNE. Lt. Moffett, who was 19 years old, will be buried beside 2d Lt. Lawrence G. McGinnis of Washington, who was killed in the same crash.
Among those here for the services are Lt. Moffett's fiancee, Miss Patricia Bruen, 190 East Chestnut street, Chicago; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. India Gillespie of Detroit, and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Holbrook Clark of Chicago. Mrs. Edwards and her husband live at Kensington, Md.
