Son of David Henry Masden and Ada A. Clifton Masden.
Charles, who resided on Hazeldale Avenue, Minquadale, Delaware, served as a Coxswain in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was "Killed In Action" on the Island of Labuan in the South Pacific serving as a member of an underwater demolition squad.
He had served in the Navy for one year and three months at the time of his death and was decorated with a Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
