Helen Orvllla Whitney, baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elgie Whitney, who reside near this city passed away on Oot. 9th, 1918, at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Street, at Swayzee, Ind., aged one year, one month aud twenty days. The family was on a visit to relatives in Indiana, making the trip by auto and had been there but a short time when the little one was seized with an illness which lastod but a short time, death coming to relieve her at once from her suffering. They brought the body home and laid it to rest in the cemetery at Custer Center. She leaves her parents and sister and a host of relatives and friends to mourn their loss.
