Ruby L. Sentman, 85, of Bear, Del., formerly of Spanishburg and Decatur, Ga., died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Wythe County Community Hospital in Wytheville, Va. Born June 21, 1924 in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Marshall Kessinger and Ottie Mae Price Kessinger. She was a homemaker and the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Sentman was in the process of moving to Bear, Del. from Decatur, Ga., where she had made her home for the past twenty-five years. In addition to her parents, her husband, Harvey Ralph Sentman; one son, Richard E. Sentman; and four brothers, Marvin Kessinger, Clyde Kessinger, Robert Kessinger, and Billy Kessinger preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Jerry L. Clark and husband Edward of Bear, Del., Carol S. Loop and husband Ted of Carolina Shores, N.C. and Dortha Mae Witt and husband Tommy of Princeton; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Princeton with Eulogist Brian Loop officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be David Luke, Brian Luke, John Clark, Richard Clark, David Cernos and David Cernos, Jr. There will be no visitation. Those attending the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by the service hour on Thursday. Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton is serving the Sentman family.
