Confirmed in 1869 in the St.Peter's Church, Town of Rhine.
Married Nicholas Balz 30th October, 1876. He was the son of John and Catharine Baltz who lived in the town of Schleswig, Manitowoc County.They had four children, three daughters and a son. His place of burial is unknown. Later, she married Bernard Bunge, 3rd July, 1888, who was a native of Germany.She had three daughters and a son with him.

Mrs. Berhard Bunge, nee Elizabeth Mantz (sic), passed away on Wednesday, at 2 a.m., at her home near Steinthal. She had been ill since last February with dropsy. Deceased was born on August 29, 1855, in the town of Rhine, where she grew to womanhood.
On October 3, 1876, she married Nicolas Balz, the union being blessed with the following children: Mrs. Arthur Graf and Mrs. Herman Grabs of Kiel, and Mrs. Frank Winkel of Schleswig. Her husband died on September 22, 1886, and on July 3, 1888 she was married to Bernhard Bunge. The couple have lived on the farm near Steinthal since their marriage. Besides her husband she is survived by four children of the second marriage as follows: Mrs. Math Dedering of Schleswig, Mrs. Henry Milz of Howards Grove, Mrs. Ernest Damrow of Kiel and Louis Bunge at home; also two brothers, Fred and Philip Mantz (sic). The obsequies will be held at 1:30 Saturday afternoon from the home. Interment will be made in the Rockville Cemetery.
