Mrs. Mary H. Green, long-time resident of this community passed away at her home early Wednesday of this week. She was making her home with her son, Roy, of West Park Street, at the time of her death.
Mrs. Green was born June 17, 1868, in Ohio, and came to Washington County with her parents at an early age. She has made Blair her home since that time.
She was the mother of nine children, all of whom survive. They are: Carl Green and Glen Green, of Herman; Floyd and Roy Green Blair; Mrs. Anna Hampton and Mrs. Mildred Melton, of Omaha; and Mrs. Anton Zander of Craig, Nebraska. By a previous marriage there were Oscar Grothe, of Herman, and Grace Grothe, of Norfolk, Nebraska.
The Deceased was a sister of Dave, Boone and W. E. Gustin, all of this vicinity.
Services will be held from the Methodist church Sunday afternoon at two o'clock with Campbell Mortuary in charge.
