The story as told by Editha DeGarmo is that Reverand and Susan were visiting relatives at a distance from home and the Baby came down sick. It was time to go home and Susan wanted to stay until Wray got a little better: however the Reverand would not allow a delay and the Baby died before they could get home. Susan never forgave her husband!
