Harry A. Ashley, 69 of Lincoln City, passed away in Topock, Ariz., Feb. 7. He was born Mar. 12, 1899 in Pierceton, Ind., and is survived by his wife Ruby, a son Howard of Pierceton, a cousin Harriett Bennet of Lincoln City an two grandchildren.
Services are being held today, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. at Pacific Mortuary, Lincoln City, with Rev. James McAllister officiating, Interment will be in the Willamette National Cemetery, Portland.
Ashley lived in Pierceton as mortician until about 1947 when he traveled selling Medical and Hospital supplies on the west coast. In 1958, he and Mrs.. Ashley made their home in Lincoln City where they were actives in the World War I Veterans, the Grange and Foto Fan Club.
