Bonham, Texas - Funeral services for Cora Patton, age 94 of Bonham, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2004 in the Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Elwood Cemetery.
Mr. Patton passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at the Seven Oaks Nursing and Rehab Center in Bonham.
Mrs. Patton was born May 5, 1909 in Arkansas the daughter of Elijah Parker and Willie Eibles Parker.
She married John McCoy Patton who preceded her in death June 18, 1970.
Mrs. Patton was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.
She is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Arthur Parker, Dan Parker, Clifford Parker, sister, Lena Gore and a half-brother Bill Chesser.
Cora Lee Patton is survived by sons, Levi Patton, Montreat, North Carolina; Johnny Patton, Mesquite, Texas; daughters, Elizabeth Banks, Casa Grande, Arizona; Susie Thorneberry, Telephone, Texas; Cora Brooks, Orlando, Florida; sister, Annie Mae Janeway, Chowchilla, California; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2004 at Wise Funeral Home in Bonham, Texas.
