Dau. of Samuel & Anna Doty Tubbs, who settled in the Town of Western only a few years earlier. Married, at her Father's house in Floyd, Oneida, NY, Jan. 1, 1816 to Samuel McDaniels, lived in several towns around NY and was mother of 13 children. After the death of her husband in Verona, NY she was living with her dau. Mary in Theresa, NY in 1865, Mrs. Townsend in Constantia-Cleveland, NY, and with her son Sam Jr in 1870.


Was last living in Amboy, Oswego Co., NY with son Squire in 1880. She applied for a Widow's Pension for her husbands War of 1812 service, but was denied for lack of proof. She died December 1880 and is buried in Lee Valley Cemetery, with her husband Samuel. The burial location for them are unmarked spaces next to her father Samuel Tubbs and in the same row as her son Squire's family, per the current administrator of the cemetery.
