Professional Wrestler. Also known as "Playboy" Buddy Rose. Over his 32-year career (1973 to 2005) he held a total of 17 tag team championships with various partners, and 13 heavyweight championships with different promotions. He had the distinction of wrestling (under a mask as "The Executioner") in the very first match of "Wrestlemania 1", against Tito Santana, and had the dubious honor of getting the first loss as well. Following his retirement he opened a wrestling school with his longtime friend and former tag team partner, Edward Wiskoski (known as "Col. DeBeers" in the ring). He died at 56, after years of battling with obesity and diabetes.
