John C. (Trail) McGaha, 43, of Newport, passed away Friday, September 10, 2004.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Earnest McGaha; grandparents, Dallas and Eva McGaha, Roy and Belva Bryant.
He was a member of French Broad Baptist Church.
Survivors include his best friend and wife, Debbie, of Newport; children, Johnny Lee McGaha, of Marks, Miss., and Cassie Lynn Orr, of Portland, Maine; mother, Willa Dean Ottinger, of Newport; and sister, Carolyn Webb, of Newport.
Additional survivors include his mother-in-law, Faye Murr Melton, of Newport; brothers and sisters-in-law, Chuck and Kim McGaha, of Newport; Jim and Lisa McGaha, of Knoxville; James and Jamie Webb, Rusty and Sharon Ottinger, Bryan Murr, Sharon and Terry Smallwood, Kenny and Renee Murr, all of Newport; "his little girls" Angel and Alexis, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
