Mrs. Strickland died at 5:50 p.m. in the Columbia Heights Hospital in Columbia after a lengthy illness.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Strickland Sr. of Clarks; one daughter, Mrs. Barry Carr of Columbia; three sons, Earl Strickland of Clarks, Henry Strickland Jr. of West Monroe, and Robert Strickland of Beaumont, Tex.; four brothers, W. E. Green of Georgetown, Thomas Green of Dubach, Marvin Green and Otho Green, both of Alexandria; two sisters, Mrs. W. R. Strickland of Grayson, and Mrs. T. W. Dempsey of Shreveport; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
