Mary Jane Packard Egan, 84, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully at St. Camillus Health Center. Born in East Syracuse, Mary Jane graduated from East Syracuse High School. Following her marriage, she resided in Fayetteville and Naples, Florida. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville and a member of the Cavalry Club. She was an avid SU football fan. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis and her brother, Donald Packard. Survivors: her children, Melodye (Greg) VanSlyke of Bridgeport, Roxanne (Tom) Watson of Syracuse and Spencer (Cathy) Martin of Arizona; her sister, June Packard (James) Tucker of Florida; five grandchildren, Tammy Coulter of Syracuse, Sean Martin of California, Jason Martin of Fulton, Jessica Watson of Syracuse and Jason Watson of Chittenango; and seven great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Camillus, B-unit for their excellent care and thoughtfulness. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville. Private burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Minoa.
