Death Note: Many genealogy web sites say she died on 6 Jul 1815 but .. Anna died sometime after 1820 as she was listed as living in the 1820 Clinton Township census on the same page as Richard "Munjar" Monjar. This census show one very old woman.
Anna was the oldest of 5 children born to George Keltz and Anna Maria Eager.
She married Philip Ghost in 1773. Between 1774 and 1793 they had 2 boys and 4 girls. The given names of their children in the order of their birth are: Craft, Mary Ann, Christina, Elizabeth K, Catherine E, John and Philip John Ghost.
Her husband Philip was born in Germany and arrived in Philadelphia with his parents in 1753. He served in the Revolutionary War as a Captain and there is a "Daughters of the American Revolution" marker at his gravesite in the Calvert Riddle Cemetery.
In 1796 the family moved to Scrubgrass Twp. which later became Clinton Twp., Venango Co., PA. The 1800 & 1810 census shows the family still living in Venango Co., PA.
