Eva "Jean" Rogers, 81, of Marblehead, died Monday June 9, 2008, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 9, 1926, in Tiffin, the daughter of Robert and Evelyn (Shelt) Platt.
Jean was a homemaker and an active member of First United Church of Christ in Marblehead. She was a past president of the Women's Fellowship of the church and enjoyed running the church's rummage sale. She enjoyed refinishing furniture and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband,she married March 7, 1946; a daughter,; a son,.; three granddaughters; two great-grandsons, ; Also and two brothers,
3 Half Brothers;1 Half Sister

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dorothy Caudill; and two brothers, Harold and Robert Platt.
