He served in the National Guard for 10 years. He was employed by Keyes Fibre for 46 years as a sealer operator until his retirement in 1999.
Don will be missed by his wife, Nancy Adams of Winslow; his son, Andrew Adams and his wife, Brenda, of Holly Springs, N.C.; his daughter, Donna Burgess and her husband, Robert, and their children, Adam and Leeann of Winslow; a brother, Joseph Adams of Manchester, Conn.; a sister, Pat Nash of Poland Springs; sisters-in-law, Marie Adams of Florida and Gwen Scott and her husband, Norman, of Fairfield; several nieces and nephews and many close friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Kenneth Adams; sister-in-law, Debbie Adams; and brother-in-law, Bal Nash.
