Bradley Rand Johnson, 54, of Florence, Mont., died April 5, 2005 in La Grande, Ore.

He was born Nov. 5, 1950, in Idaho Falls, to Lin Holmes Johnson and Madge Jenson Johnson. He grew up in the Lincoln area and graduated from Bonneville High School. He graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and later earned his MBA from Idaho State University and Doctorate in Business from St. Louis University.

He taught at North East Missouri State University, the University of Nebraska Omaha, the University of Montana and at the time of his death was teaching at Eastern Oregon University where he was instrumental in developing the MBA program.

On July 30, 1976, he married Janette Landeen in the Idaho Falls LDS temple.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served a two-year mission to Korea and after completing the mission he used his language skills at the Language Training Mission in Hawaii. While living in Florence, he served as bishop of the Lolo Ward as well as many other leadership positions. He enjoyed music, singing with his father, brothers and sister and later with his wife and children. Brad's greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and watching his sons play basketball.

Survivors include his wife, Janette, of Florence, Mont.; daughter, Angela (Michael) Mains of Cedar Hills, Utah; sons, Adam Johnson and Aaron Johnson, both of Provo, Utah, Andrew Johnson, serving a LDS mission in the Phillipines, Alex Johnson of Florence, Mont.; father, Lin H. (Mary) Johnson, brothers, Barry (Darla) Johnson, Drew (Trudy) Johnson, Travis (Kathy) Johnson, Todd (Tammi) Johnson; and sister, Robin (William) Haack, all of Idaho Falls. He was preceded in death by his mother, Madge.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at Lincoln 1st Ward, 3800 E. Lincoln Rd., with President Travis Johnson officiating. The family will visit with friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the church before services. Burial will be in Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. in Idaho Falls.
