A funeral will be held Saturday, February 20th, 2010 for 69-year-old Perry C. Fairfax of Tuscaloosa, AL, formerly of Ste. Genevieve, who died Sunday, February 14th, 2010 in Tuscaloosa.

He was born September 19th, 1940, in Otterville, the son of Hugh and Lena (Boatright) Fairfax. They preceded him in death.

He married Barbara Barley December 28th, 1961. She survives.

He is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Ken (Donna) Fairfax of Eureka, Brett (Karen) Fairfax of Birmingham, AL; a sister, Dr. Laura May Fairfax of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Lauren, Connor, Hunter Grace, & Madison.

He was a graduate of the University of Missouri, past president of the Ste. Genevieve Lion's Club, and served as an officer in the US Navy. His hobbies included hunting, gardening, golf and following college athletics.

Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home on Friday, February 19, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

A funeral service for Perry C. Fairfax of Tuscaloosa, AL, formerly of Ste. Genevieve, will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Lorraine Stange will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church.
