RUNGE — Martha W. Pargmann, 97, died Sunday in a Victoria nursing home after a long illness.
She was born Dec. 13, 1888, in Ellwerden, Oldenburg, Germany, to Christian and Bertha Wolters Wieting and was married to the late Gerhard Pargmann Dec 17, 1907, in Shiner.
She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Runge.
Services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Janssen Chapel in Runge, with the Rev. Donald Fredine officiating.
Burial will be in the Runge Cemetery.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Erna Linhart of Victona and Mrs. Hertha Buesing of Runge; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
