"Taylor, William M. {Auglaize Co} Enl 1776. served to close of war. At Brandywine, Stony Point and Yorktown. Born July 4, 1754, New Jersey. Mar{ried} four times in Pennsylvania. Children, Margaret, Susan, Robert and Harriet. D July 4, 1868 age 114 yrs. Bur Fort Amanda, but no marker. Veteran of 3 wars. After Rev was on sea until 1793. Under Wayne at battle of Fallen Timbers, and many others of Indian Wars. After War ended, returned to Penn and mar. Was authority on wars. At age 104 divided up his farm and effects. Lived last ten years of life with dau, Mrs Harriet Dehart, near Spenserville. Fur info J.W. McMurray, Wapokoneta, O. On request of Jane Dailey, State Chairmen."
