Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Geneva Bell Caughten Adams; two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Hambrick of Meansville, and Mrs. T.W. Foots of Atlanta; eight sons, Jack Adams and Jerrell Adams, both of Thomaston; Clarence Adams and John Adams, both of Griffin; Marvin Adams of Barnesville, Wesley Adams of Warner Robbins, Edward Adams and Ralph Adams, both of Meansville; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at 4:30from the Meansville Baptist Church. The
Rev. Hilton Gillespie and the Rev. Zeb Laughter officiated, Burial was in Congregational Cemetery in Meansville. Hubbard Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
