J.H. Neeley, 43-year-old disabled war veteran, died here last night from burns he received when his house burned about him yesterday afternoon.

Funeral services for Neeley, a pioneer Borgan who came here in 1926 from Burkburnett and followed oil field work, will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Powell Funeral Chapel. Military rites, in charge of the American Legion, will be conducted.

The Rev. J.A. Thomas, Assembly of God pastor, will conduct the services. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery.

Neeley is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Maxine Lowe, Thelma Neeley, and Opal Neeley, all of Borger; his mother, Mrs. J.B. Neeley, Borger; two brothers, C.E. and T.W., Borger; and one sister, Mrs. J.A. Williams of Dallas.

Pallbearers will be Fritz Ostrom, Blackie Tannehan, J.T. Teague, Claude Ruby, John L. Howard and Otto Phillips.
