Private, Capt. Thomas Keyser's Boy Company of Page County, in the spring of 1864. Enrolled 5/4/1864 in 2nd Co. M, 62nd Virginia Mounted Infantry. Present through 12/31/1864. No further record. Attended the 1913 Gettysburg reunion. Never married, but had at least one child with Christina Ester Good (1847-1890), daughter of Noah and Mary Stoneberger Good. Along with many other Page County Confederates, he attended the 50th reunion of Gettysburg held in 1913.
