Mr. Harry Earl Smith, 89, formerly of Parrottsville, went to his final rest December 17, 2005, in West Palm Beach, Fla.

He retired from Pan American Airways as a jet engine inspector.

His hobbies included restoring antique Model A Fords and he was an avid fisherman.

Harry served his country in the Army as a corporal in 1936, the Navy in 1945, and the Air Force Reserve in 1950.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Glen Dale; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Jacquelyn and John Miller and Susan and Wayne Sutton; grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Randal and Dianna Dale and John and Nancy Dale; grandson, Daniel Dale; great-grandchildren, Janell, John, and Joanna Miller, Randal Jr., John T., and Alexander Dale, Jennifer, Joshua, Jason, and James Sutton; his beloved sister, Evelyn Kropff ; nephews, David and Joan Kropff , Larry and Ann Kropff , Neal and Sue Kropff , and Doyle and Betty Kropff ; and niece, Sandra Hungler. Additional survivors include wonderful neighbors, Veronica and Eddy Holt and Barbara and Jerry Messer.

Interment will follow in Forest Hills Baptist Church Cemetery.

All of his family miss Harry and his wife, Jackie.
