William Benjamin Allen married Allie Victoria Bearden in Marshall County, AL on 31 May 1891. William was living with with his parents William Benjamin Allen, Sr. and Nancy his wife at the time in Texas in 1880.
Allie and William had 6 children and 34 grandchildren. Their children were Minnie Elizabeth (or Elizebth) Allen Daniels, Leo Otto Allen (buried next to his mother), Ida B. Allen McLeland Capps, William Harley Allen (buried next to his mother), Joseph E. Allen (see picture to the right), and Elsie M. Allen Yates. He died approximately Jan. 2 in Cowell, AR as reported by his second wife on Jan. 4, 1947 telling the family of his recent death.
At one time he was pastor at Salem Baptist Church in Henryetta, OK.
She stated he was buried in the Cowell Cemetery but cannot find him listed. However, there are a number of unmarked graves there. She also stated he was buried nice and lots of people attended his funeral. She said he had a lot of friends. Also, she said he died in the hospital and his last words were, "Moma I am going to heaven, you can come on."
