Olive Elizabeth Roberts Daubenbis, 85, died Dec. 23, 1993 at her home in Long Beach, Ca.
She was born in South-End-On-Sea, England on Jan. 18, 1908.
She and her late husband, the Rev. Frederick Daubenbis, served the combined Lutheran churches of St. Paul and St. Peter for many years. She lived in Madison for many years and was very active in Girl Scouts and she and her husband donated their services to the Library of Congress, writing stories and translating stories into braille. She also donated many hours to homeless shelters in Long Beach, She became a naturalized citizen in 1974.
Surviving is one daughter, Fredalynne Schmidlap of Madison, one brother, James Roberts; five grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984.
