LEOMINSTER - Adam S. Chasse, 11, of 257 Parrish Ave., Paris, Ky., formerly of Leominster, died Friday after being struck and killed by a car near his home. Adam, and his mother who was also killed, were helping another motorist change a flat tire at the time of the accident.

Adam leaves his father, Lyle J. Chasse of Chicopee; his stepmother, Tina M. (Cote) Allain Chasse of Chicopee; his stepfather, David Bowman of Paris; a brother, Jeremy J. Chasse of Chicopee; a stepsister, Katheryn Bowman of Paris; his paternal grandparents, Gerald and Mary Ann (Gendreau) Chasse of Van Buren, Maine; his maternal stepgrandparents, Edward and Constance (Booth) McNally of Leominster; several uncles; aunts and cousins. He was born in Grand Prairie, Texas, son of Sandra R. (Smith) Bowman and lived in Leominster for several years before moving to Chicopee two years ago, and then Kentucky last year.

He was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Church in Leominster, and while living here he attended the Lura A. White School, Shirley. He was a member of the Leominster Dek hockey league.

The funeral will be held Wednesday from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Holy Family of Nazareth Church, 800 Union St., Leominster. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
