Donovan, James, b. ca. 1824, County Cork, Ireland. Former Confederate soldier who, after being captured and sent to Pt. Lookout, Maryland, took the oath of allegiance and enlisted in Co. H, 1st United States Volunteer Infantry. D. 4/25/1864 (scurvy). Remains removed from Ft. Rice Cemetery and reburied in this cemetery, 3/6/1905.
