George married his second wife, Sarah Jane Swick on Dec 23, 1819 in Loudoun County, VA. This was also Sarah's second marriage, she being married first to a Jesse Downs. Sarah was born Aug 1, 1793 in New Jersey, and she was the daughter of Anthony and Martha Swick.
George and Sarah traveled almost 18 years later from Virginia into West Virginia circa 1835-1837, finally settling in Doddridge County and in/near the village of "Miletus" for the remainder of their lives.
