Alfred Alexander was born in Nicholas Co. KY, Dec 29th, 1820 and moved to Mo. with his parents in the year 1824. He united with the Christian church when very young and lived a consistant member of that church until his death which occurred March 27th, 1899. He was united in marriage to Lucinda Robinson, Aug. 16th, 1843. To this union was born seven children, five of whom survive to mourn his loss, Mesdames Maggie Norton, Emma Warren, Laura Gardner and Mahala Norman, and T.C. Alexander. Rev. Margret delivered the funeral sermon and the remains were interred at the Norton Cemetery Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.
