William S. Ainsworth of New Baden, a farmer, died Tuesday in Temple. He was 76.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, at the Blair-Stubbs-McCauley Funeral Chapel in Franklin, the Rev. Mithell Lee Vickers officiating. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Franklin.
Mr. Ainsworth was born May 15, 1918, in New Baden. He attended New Baden School and lived most of his life in Robertson County. He married Inez Sweatt on Dec. 11, 1941, in Brownwood. He was a self-employed farmer and rancher. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of New Baden Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Barbara Stockton of Round Rock, Betty Jordon of Amarillo and Lana Carr of Rockdale; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
