Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Rites Wednesday For Sadie Heath Mrs. Sadie Heath, one of Wickenburg's few remaining pioneers, died at 5 p. m. Tuesday in Community Hospital. Funeral services were scheduled for 10 a. m. Wednesday in the Presbyterian Church with Dr. Charles S. Poling officiating. Mrs. Reuben Stifel sang. Burial was to follow in the Cottonwood Cemetery at 3:30 p. m. Wednesday.Mrs. Heath, born November 7, 1875, in Orosi, Calif., moved with her family to Willcox when she was l0 years old. Two years later she came to Wickenburg where she remained until 1896 when she was married at the Vulture Mine to Arthur Heath who died approximately 22 years ago. After her marriage, she lived for a number of years on the OX Ranch, now known as the Billingsley Ranch, near Congress. After a short time in Camp Verde, she returned to Wickenburg. That was more than 20 years ago. Henry Wickenburg, the man for whom this town was named, was one of Mrs. Heath's personal friends. Mrs. Heath had been in ill health since last November. Until then, she was an active worker in all affairs of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors are a son, Arthur Earl Heath of Kingman; one grandson, Sheldon Earl Heath of Yucca; and three great grandsons, Sheldon Jr., Norman and Roy, all of Yucca.
