He liked his poker and the occasional board game, too. He laughed with a big ol' guffaw that shook his entire body. And while he could always laugh at himself, 90% of the time he was probably laughing at you, too!
Among his many accomplishments, Paul was a former Midwest Regional Representative for Youth of Unity, an Eagle Scout in the Order of the Arrow, and a Rockhurst University graduate. Most recently, he worked as an adjuster for the Internal Revenue Service.
Paul is survived by his mother, Betty' older brothers Thomas and Russell; nieces Stacy and Karie; and his surrogate son, Joe.
For those of us who really knew him, Paul was a complex man whom we loved and embraced with all of his lovely flaws.
Paul S. Posner, age 44, succumbed to cancer on February 6, 2010, peacefully, at home with family. Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, February 11, 2010, at Marts Memorial Services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul's memory to the American Cancer Society or Unity Village.
