Pulaski - LaVerne G. Littler, 40, a son of Ray Littler of Pulaski and the late Ethel Wheeler, was found dead in bed at his home in Camden Sunday. He died of heart ailment.
For more than 20 years Mr. Littler had been employed as a lineman for the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation. he played semi-pro baseball for several minor leagues in this area and later was an outfielder for the Utica Braves.
He married Thelma Meiers of Camden April 27, 1932. He was a member of the Methodist church and the Camden Rod & Gun Club.
Besides his wife and father, he leaves two sons, two daughters, one sister and two brothers.
The funeral will be tomorrow from the Sanborn Funeral Home in Camden, with the Rev. Carlton G. VanOrnum officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
