Patricia Jean "Pat" Hollje, 75, of Broadway Junction left this world to go cook in God's kitchen inside the Pearly Gates Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010.
The family receives friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Private graveside services are to be held Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Ralph Taylor officiating.
She was the daughter of Elmer and Robbie Rasberry York, born May 23, 1934, in Waxahachie. She graduated from Delmar High School in 1951. She married the man of her life and dreams, Reinhardt Hollje July 30, 1955. Reinhardt went to the great deer camp in the sky March 31, 1991.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Hollie Hollje; and a sister, Dorothy Newberry.
Survivors include two sons, Keith Hollje and wife, Nita, of Hopewell and Gregg Hollje of Paris; one grandson, Hunter Hollje of Hopewell; two brothers, Charles York and wife, Carolyn, of Lewisville and Mickey York and wife, Beth, of Commerce; a brother-in-law, El Juan Newberry of Paris; her beloved nieces, Tina, Missy, Amy and Paige.
Hunter was always the passion that kept Pat going until her sunset of life.
