Carthage, Mo, May 9--Funeral services for Mrs. Anje Bernadiena Gardner, 67 years old, of Golden City, will be conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Golden City Presbyterian church. The Rev. E. W. Love will officiate, assisted by the Rev. H. E. Waters. Burial will be in Lake cemetery at Lamar. The body will lie in state at the Philips funeral home at Golden City until time to be taken to the church for services.
Mrs. Gardner, wife of Terry Gardner, a retired farmer, died unexpectedly Thursday morning at the home. Surviving, beside the husband, are a son, Gerritt Hopkins of Memphis, Tennessee; three stepsons, Carlos Gardner of Poteau, Oklahoma, Merle and Fred Gardner of Memphis; two brothers, Jewell Snip and John Snip at Lamar, and a sister, Mrs. Loretta Wolf of the Ozark community.
