**NOTE: There were two Elijah Moores from Maryland, both born at about the same time, but one to Matthew Moore, of Charles County, and the other to Benjamin Moore, of Prince George's County. The distinction may be that, in a Deed of Gift, in 1808, Matthew gave a slave to his daughter-in-law, "Edy Moore, daughter-in-law, and wife to Elijah Moore", who, it seems, was very likely Edytha/Edith Harris Moore.
