Funeral services for Mrs. Inez Cheeks, wife of Joseph Cheeks, Cambridge R.D. 2, who died at 2 p.m., Sunday following a lingering illness, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the residence, Rev. F.A. Shiltz officiating. Interment will be made in Northwood cemetery. The body will be returned from the Mock funeral home, New Concord, Wednesday morning.
Mrs. Cheeks was born and reared in Reedy, W.Va., but had resided in Guernsey coonty several years. She was a member of the Chalfant's Chapel Methodist church. Surviving are, in addition to her husband, two sons, Pvt. William A. Milligan, U.S. Army, and Pfc. Charles H. Milligan, U.S. Marines, both now at home; two daughters, Elizabeth of the home, Mrs. Helen Casterline, of Middlebourne; three brothers, Louis Hornbeck, Parkersburg, W.Va., Emmett Hornbeck, Bellaire; Donsel Hornbeck, Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Horner, Parkersburg, and Mrs. Leota Milstead, Canton; and two grandchildren.
