Norman A "Punky" Anderson, 62, of Foxboro, WI, died Tuesday,Nov 17, 2009, at St Luke's Hospital, Duluth, following a five week battle cancer. He was born June 2, 1947, in Superior, son of Bertha (Johnson) and Andrew Anderson.

From 1964 to 1968 he served in the US Navy. Punky's work history included Greenwood Cemetery, Burlington Northern Railroad, Norm Anderson Trucking, Kivi Bros Trucking and most recently, the Town of Summit.

On July 9, 2004 in Reno, NV, Norman Anderson and RaeAnn Madsen were united in marriage. Punky enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and various other outdoor activities; however he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and sister, Beverly Conklin.

Survivors include his wife, RaeAnn; son Norman (Colleen) Jr, Superior; daughter, Connie (Andre) Nelson, Cordova, TN; grandchildren, Shae', Bre'ana, Dionna, Adrianna, Cody, Mason, Paige, Coral and Sean; brother, Arvid (Judy), Mooreland, OK; several nieces and nephews; and his pet dogs, Buster and Spot.

Pallbearers will be John Eastman, Napp Nault, Doug Anderson, Cliff Schultz, Terry Ayer and Rick Nindorf. Honorary pallbearers will be Norm Trader, Harold Janke, Ray Nindorf, Brian Torgerson, Jimmy Fudally, Harvey Wanek and Wayne Middleton.

Burial will be in Summit Cemetery with Milary Honors
