Minnie Ruth Fuller was born on 29 Nov 1896 in Elmira, Chemung Co, NY, the youngest of five children to bless the marriage of Charles Daniel Fuller and his second wife, Miss Lida E. Marvin.

She married Mr. William Lovejoy Nesbitt, 27 Jun 1915 in Elmira, Chemung Co, NY, the son of William Lovejoy and Mary Ann Nesbit.

William was born in England and immigrated into the United States from Canada in 1890 (according to the 1910 US Federal Census)and was previously married to Miss Evelyn Phelps and had two sons: Laport Lovejoy (a.k.a. William Laport) and Robert Sterling. This marriage ended in divorce circa 1913.

William did not find the name Minnie dignified and insisted she go by Ruth (this story according to Nellie Eliza Fuller Heaxt, Ruth's eldest sibling).

Ruth and William had three sons: William Lovejoy, Lloyd Fuller and Lynn Marvin.

They moved from Elmira circa 1922 and purchased a plot of land and built a home at 3519 17th Street N.E., Washington, District of Columbia.

William died on 07 Apr 1946 at his home at 3519 17th Street N.E., Washington, District of Columbia, aged 61y 02m 09d.

Ruth never remarried, remaining a widow for almost seven years, passing on 11 Feb 1953 in Washington, D.C., aged 56y 02m 12d.
