WILLIS BEADLES
Canton - Willis C. Beadles, 90, of 250 S. Main died at 8:55 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at Graham Hospital Extended Care.
Born Dec. 25, 1910, in Lewistown to Thomas N. and Addie Jones Beadles, he married Anna Hummel on Aug. 25, 1934, in Lewistown . She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Gary (and Lynn) of Mooreville, Miss., and Chris (and Penny) of North Aurora; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Joyce) Harland of Canton; one brother, Herbert (and Irene) of Lewistown ; one sister, Vivian Hughes of Canton; 13 grandchildren; and 15 greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, David; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; three brothers; and six sisters.
He had owned and operated various service stations in Canton and Lewistown and retired from the Marathon service station in Canton in 1975.
He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Canton.
A memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at HenryLange Memorial Home in Lewistown , where visitation will be 1 1/2 hours before. The Rev. Tim Ferrill will officiate. Cremation will be accorded. Burial of ashes will be in Providence Cemetery in rural Lewistown .
