My Uncle Milford held several patents for his work with Corning Incorporated (Corning, NY). I know he was a big part in the invention of "Transition Lenses" optical wear. I am still unable to locate his "newspaper" obituary, if anyone has a copy, please let me know. He was a very accomplished man in his field. Below are a few of his patents:
