|Birth: ||Dec. 8, 1907|
|Death: ||Mar. 26, 1945, Belgium|
Died in Bastogne, Belgium. His tombstone indicates he received the Purple Heart, which means he was wounded in combat, so he must have died from his wounds received in World War II while serving with the 4th Armored Division. The official dates for the Battle of the Bulge were 16 December 1944 – 25 January 1945 so his death in March 1945 would once again lead us to believe he was not killed in the Battle of the Bulge but died later from wounds received during the battle.
