HENRY HUGHES OF NEAR LEWISTOWN IS DEAD
Lewistown, Feb. 20 - (Special) - Pneumonia from which he had suffered for a week, caused the death at 4:10 o'clock this morning of Henry Hughes, well known farmer, residing southwest of Lewistown.
Mr. Hughes, born Jan. 10, 1864, the son of David Hughes, had lived all his life in the vicinity of the county seat. He was married 40 years ago Feb. 28 of this year to Emma Burge, who together with their nine children survive him. The children are: Richard, Lucien, Rudolph, Harry, John, Mrs. Jessie May, Mrs. Gladys Lynch and Mrs. Ora Sheff, all of Lewistown and Mrs. Lucille Millard of Orlando, Fla.
Mrs. Lucille Brock of Canton is a sister and David and William of Lewistown and Job of Kansas City are brothers.
Mr. Hughes was a member of Odd Fellows lodge.
Althought funeral arrangements have not been completed, services will probably be held Monday afternoon at the Christian chruch, Rev. Kline officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
