Pauline J. Weyandt, 83, Altoona, died Thurs., 1/28 at home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Leo W. & Helen A. (Blendl) Conroy. She married Melvin C. Weyandt July 31, 1948, in the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. Surviving are her husband of 61 years; four sons: Lee W. (Linda), Dennis M. (Brenda), Ronald J. and Stephen C. (Tracey), all Altoona; daughter, Janet W. Nearhood (Robert), Altoona; 16 grandchildren; 8 gr. grandchildren; brothers: John Conroy, Lancaster and Ralph Conroy (Joan), Altoona. Predeceased by sister, Connie Potter and brother, Thomas Conroy. Pauline was a 1944 graduate of Altoona High School and had formerly worked in the accounting dept. of A&P Tea Co. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, as well as St. Mary's Christian Mothers and the choir. Pauline enjoyed spending time with her husband and family, gardening, sewing, camping and hiking. Stevens Mortuary, Altoona. Committal, Calvary Cemetery.
