HENRY OVER DECEASED - Henry Over, whose death occurred in Licking Township, this county, on March 30, 1897, as heretofore announced, was one of Clarion county's most useful, respected and trusted citizens. On Sabbath morning, March 28th, he became seriously ill, although having been almost helpless for sometime previous to his death, and then, after two days, slept his last sleep. For over 60 years he was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and for the greater time, an official member. The funeral was conducted by his pastor, Rev. Calhoun—assisted by Rev. B.F. Delo, of Clarion, and Rev. Askey, of Curllsville, who paid tribute to the memory of a good and true man. Two brothers survive—John Over, of Clarion, at the age of 90 years, and Emanuel Over of Callensburg, aged 75 years. His surviving children; Mrs. John Wilson, of Clarion; Mrs. A. Feely, of Philadelphia; Mrs. Andrew Reese, of Licking, and Mrs. J.M. Guffey, of Pittsburgh, and William, James and Alexander Over, of Licking. Also, three living sisters; Mrs. Samuel C. Wilson, of Toby township; Mrs. D. Guthrie, of Franklin; Mrs. C. Reichart, of Pittsburgh, Pa. The services were attended by a very large concourse of neighbors and friends.
