David P. Arnold, 58 years old, a prominent resident of Freeland died suddenly at 2:30 Monday morning of heart failure.
Mr. Arnold had been a resident of Saginaw county for thirty-nine years, coming here from Stanley, New Brunswick., in the fall of 1879. He was married to Miss Susan J. Turnbull of Tittabawassee township in 1887 when they moved to the farm where they have since resided.
Surviving are the widow and three daughters, Lottie G. Arnold of Saginaw, Mrs. Robert Scott of Freeland and Miss Lois I. Arnold at home. there are also two brothers, Amos Arnold of Fredericktown, N.B., and Mrs. Charles Hatch, also of East Dedham.
Announcement of the funeral services has not been made. Mr. Arnold was a member of the Freeland lodge, K.O.T.M., No. 355.
