The family is grateful for the attentive care she received at the Nephi Hospital from her physician Dr. Grant Rasmussen and many other skilled and compassionate people. Her daughter, nephews, nieces, great-nieces, sisters, and brother were loving and helpful to her for many years. She loved each of them and was loved by them in return.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving faithfully all her life in various ward and stake positions, including Sunday School Teacher, Junior Sunday School Coordinator, Relief Society President, and in the Stake Relief Society Presidency. She supported her husband as he served as Bishop twice.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolynn L. Anderson of Moore, Idaho, and Twilla L. Gordon (Dr. Ronald F. Gordon) of Ogden, Utah, six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; one sister Corrine Garrett and one brother, Roscoe Garrett, along with many loving nieces and nephews.
